23 - “Free Time”

January 6th, 2008
Watching Battlestar Galactica right now, so my commentary shall be slim.  Short story:  I find this one hilarious.

22 - “Not the Same”

December 26th, 2007
A special Wednesday post as this comic wont really be relevant once Steve comes back from Colorado tomorrow.  However, there are two lies in this comic.  One, there isn’t any snow in Washington right now (at least not where it matters), and two, no snow, so no Steve Snowman.  But, you know, the sentiment is still there.

21 - “We’re Back”

December 24th, 2007
Wow, so that was a bit of a break. Jeez. Anyway, I know this isn’t so funny, but I needed something to kick start comics again, and this fit rather well. Could’ve fixed the slanted and squished text in the third panel, but I was too busy penciling TWO MORE COMICS so, ya know, it didn’t happen.

And there’ll be an extra comic uploaded on Wednesday for you all. :)

20 - “Of Games and Conventions”

August 28th, 2007
PAX was absolutely amazing. This was my second year going, and it was even more enjoyable than the first (which for me was just last year). However, a fault of my character kind of diminishes what could have been: I am a horrible coward when it comes to greeting people I don’t know, thus, I don’t do it very often. So, considering in all the opportunities I could have actually engaged others in conversation, well… it is regrettable. In other words, dammit, I wish I had actually asked a question or two in the PA panels. Not that I know what I would have asked, but at least the ACT of asking may have been accomplished.

On a side note, I decided to draw Gabe and Tycho as their comic selves versus their IRL selves, as the former is more known. And I like drawing characters that originated in a different style, in my own. Makes for interesting times.

19 - “It’s Never Lupus”

August 19th, 2007
Why are the stupid comics the ones I have the most fun doing?  Oh well.  Dang though, we’re getting up there in comic count bit by bit.

18 - “Halo-tards”

August 14th, 2007
Pretty much true.  Not much else to say.  I tried to stay as true to the Spartan armor as I could with this simplified style.

17 - “I Hate Bandwagons” Pt. 2

August 5th, 2007
I… I just don’t know.  Honestly, I just wanted a Harry Potter character getting eaten by a sandworm.  Thought it would be funny, ya know?  Also, I can’t draw sandworms.

16 - “I Hate Bandwagons” Pt. 1

July 29th, 2007
Mind you, I like Harry Potter, but I don’t read two books at the same time, so Children of Dune takes precedence as I was halfway through that book when HP7 came out.

15 - “I Think I’ll Eat Worms”

July 21st, 2007
I really wish this was an exaggeration, but no, I am, in fact, very close to that. Okay, except for the manta ray thing. I mean, it was sad and all that, but I wouldn’t cry over it. Everything else though… yeah. Which is why my comic posting is sporadic! I get in moods and just can’t draw.

In other words, this was some art therapy. I needed to make fun of all of this and how I am totally incapable of dealing with stress. XD

14 - “Back Away From the Barista”

May 30th, 2007
I suppose this is as good a time as any to explain why my updating has been incredibly sporadic as of late, especially since it sort of has to do with this comic. Short version: working at Starbucks sucks the energy out of me. The only good opportunities to draw a comic are when I have two or three days off in a row. However, I am working to rectify this, so with any luck, it shall be fixed rather soon. And the good half to all of this is that I’ve been accepted to DigiPen and have been in the process of filling out all the random paperwork for that.

And as evidenced by the comic, I got my hair cut a couple weeks ago. It was getting long, so I got it cut and will be donating the hair when I drag my lazy butt to the post office. I like shorter hair, so much easier to deal with.
